...Keep Web site development costs down
How would it costs to design/ re-design your site?
That is the thousand dollars question, is it not? Seriously, it really depends on many factors such as:
- The amount of assistance you need in the selection of designs and pictures;
- The complexity of the original Web design you select;
- The changes you want to make to the original design (layout, pictures, etc);
- The number of pages to be created;
- The number of pictures to be rescaled and positioned in the pages;
- The number of links to PDF or other documents; and,
- What you want me to do with the Web files once they are ready to be published.
So first, I need a clear understanding of the scope and complexity of the project before I can give you any sort of estimate. See How do we go about it? in the Service page.
How would I charge to Maintain your site?
I can keep your site current on a "per hour" basis. I keep a log of the various bits and pieces of maintenance work, and bill you once every three months.
How would I charge to Manage your Domain?
I can manage your domain on a "per hour" basis. I keep a log of the various bits and pieces of work, and bill you once every three months.
How would I charge to Edit your site?
Through author M.D. Benoit, I offers editing services on a "per page" or "per hour" basis.
You may deal with the author directly, or I can arrange the editing for you. In all cases, we keep a common log of the various bits and pieces of work, and bill you on the completion of the work.
...and here is an example...
I can take a standard open source design template of your own choice, convert it into a 5 pages Web site, personalized it with your site name, navigation bar, text and links, and upload the lot to your web host, ready to use, for around $150.
...But of course no two projects are the same, so and we can talk about the specifics, without obligations.
